Bicep - Isles

Electronics. It could be more textured.  Fuses diverse electronic beats with atmospheric vocals for long periods of time that are danceable, energetic, that rarely become cloying - excellent first two tracks. The incomprehensible vocals on "Apricots" are slightly off-putting... Maybe it's my fault, but the mix sounds weird - too many flashy elements (honking horns), but instrumentally it's kind of catchy. . The vocal paritcipation in "Saku" is ok, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done... it's decent."Lido" soothes the scenes that don't need soothing.  After all, is it for dancing or is it for introspection with digital environments, i need to know!!!!!!  YES! we've warmed up again with "X"! - distorted/disconcerting. The vibe is still nice, but slightly cloying and there's a horn that won't shut up :/. Blur... YES! we've warmed up again with "X"! - distorted/deconcerting blows/chords? ganda beat! (autechre - is that you?). Build up tension?"Review" - the vibe is still nice, but slightly cloying and there's a horn that won't shut up xD. I'm certainly on planet Earth. the vibe is very urban. "Review" - the vibe is still nice, but slightly cloying and there's a horn that won't shut up xD. I'm certainly on planet earth. the vibe is buĂ© urban. Dynamic!!!!!!!!!  Closer - the melody is very playful it sounds like it's trying to communicate, but later it's overloaded with voices.... In the same dimension this is very diverse. Even if that versatility requires some duds this is very commendable. High speed! Cells carrying blood? - like it's organic and weirdoooooo! The playful element is back! What a trip xD - comparable to planet's mad / Gupi. versatility check, components check, danceable and energy filled tracks check - I'm only divided on the vocals, more catchy sounds and slower tracks . otherwise, it's approved.  It's a vibe, but there are a lot of times when it loses nitro during highlights and there are scenes that aren't hyglights at all... It never comes back to shine as bright as it did in the beginning.
